This marketing site
The newsletter, tutoring consult, school inquiry, Quillhaven note, and contact forms send the fields you type to the matching Griffin & Quill inbox. The page asks FormSubmit to deliver that email. This site does not keep a copy of what you type. An attorney still has to say how long those emails are kept and who may read them.
This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or its own cookies. Fonts are files we host. Submitting a form sends the typed fields to FormSubmit. No third-party script is loaded with the page.
What Quillhaven collects
Quillhaven collects only what teachers need, never sells it, and has no ads or trackers.
This draft is not a legal determination. An attorney still needs to review it before any game is offered to children, including children under 13.
Newsletter, waitlist, consult, and school forms on the marketing site are for adults. Please do not type a child’s full name or other private details into them.
Tutoring and school inquiries
A tutoring or school form collects the adult’s name, email, and the note they choose to write. It does not ask for a student’s full name. The final policy has to say who can see those notes and when they are deleted. That language is not written yet.
Teachers Pay Teachers
Classroom resources are planned for Teachers Pay Teachers, which is a separate site with its own privacy policy. Buying there is not a purchase on griffinandquill.com. This site does not link to a store yet.
Still needs a lawyer
- Which privacy laws apply, including COPPA and any state rules.
- Whether a parent consent step is required anywhere outside the games.
- How long form emails would be kept.
- What to tell people about FormSubmit delivering those emails.
- What to say if we later add accounts. Accounts are not part of this design.
